Based on special family recipes that are hundreds of years old, these power-packed bars feature potent Ayurvedic herbs, like fenugreek, and nourishing ingredients to support your lactation.
These lactation bars are sweet treats, but the herbs are strong and the bars (they are not cookies or brownies) have a unique Indian flavor profile.

MAJOR BENEFITS:
Lactation Support - Fenugreek, an herb* that has been used for centuries by women to support lactation. It is the galactagogue most recommended by lactation specialists and medical professionals to help women with their milk supply. Fenugreek works by stimulating the sweat glands; a woman's mammary glands are modified sweat glands. (Please see below for additional usage info).
Healthy Fats - Coconut , which is high in healthy fats and lauric acid, and Ghee, a nourishing clarified butter that has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years, is rich in vitamins A, E and D & butyric acid - a short-chain fatty acid that is good for intestinal support. Both these fats can help to improve the fatty composition in breast milk.
Protein - Almond meal which is high in protein, calcium & omega-3 fatty acids.
Joint and Muscular Support - Featuring two specialized Ayuverdic herbs*: Peepramul, traditionally used to strengthen the joints and ease pelvic and lower back inflammation and powdered Acacia Gum, which is traditionally used to promote muscle flexibility and energize the body.
Healthy Digestion - Ginger can ease gastro-intestinal discomfort and Poppy Seeds, containing folate, iron, zinc and linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid, can help with constipation.

Freeze upon receipt (for 30 min - 1 hour) and then refrigerate. While the treats can stay out for 1.5 weeks (the gluten-free vegan treats can stay out for 2-3 weeks) during shipment they cannot be kept out once received. Do not store at room temperature. Our Lactation Treats can be kept for up to 1.5 months in the refrigerator or up to 3 months in the freezer, best if in a sealed, airtight container.

Can I have any Mrs. Patel’s lactation products if I am pregnant?
No. The herbs in our Breastfeeding line are potent and cannot be digested if you are or think you are pregnant. We suggest you have our trimester-specific pregnancy teas (which are for pregnancy only and not lactation).
How long does shipping take?
From the moment you place your order to when it arrives at your doorstep, it typically takes about 1 to 1.5 weeks because we make our products fresh in small batches. This ensures that you receive the highest quality, natural ingredients without preservatives or unnecessary additives. Our careful preparation process allows us to retain the natural benefits of ingredients, providing you with products that are not only effective but also crafted with the utmost care for your well-being.
When will I see results?
We don’t offer specific timelines for results because every woman’s body is unique, and the way each person responds to herbs can vary significantly. Some mamas notice an increase in milk supply within just 1-2 days, while for others, it may take 12 days or more to see a difference, and in some cases, certain individuals may not experience a noticeable change at all. Since herbal remedies work gradually to support overall hormonal balance and well-being, we recommend using our products consistently for at least one month to allow your body enough time to adjust and respond effectively.
